I like mice that are of normal size and weight. Ones that work well, reliably, and have decent ergonomics.
One that I'm quite happy with over the past six months is the A4TECH Bloody X5 Pro:
All the settings are configured using buttons on the mouse's bottom (this sounds kinky 🙂 ). No software (Logitech software, for example, sucks with Linux, at least in my experience).
It seems robust, it's easy to keep clean, and it works fine. It's not wireless, but that's a plus as far as I'm concerned, at least for working on a desktop.
Cost me about $40, so it's not cheap, but I prefer the way it fits my hand compared to other, a lot more expensive alternatives that I've tried.
